FETCH YOUR
CREDENTIALS

The first step required to set up your SEDNA system is to get access to your personal password and username. To do this, we use Secure Note, which is a fantastic tool from a security perspective as it destroys your credentials once you’ve read them. With that in mind, be sure to take note of these credentials once you’ve read them as you’ll need them for future access to your SEDNA system!

Set Up Multi-Factor
Authentication

Combined with your login credentials, setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) is key to ensuring your SEDNA system remains secure. The system works by providing you with a unique code each time you log in to your SEDNA platform – doubling the security level and giving you peace of mind. These 6 digit codes are sent to you via an MFA app, and typically you’ll only need to log in with an MFA code every thirty days or when you log in from a new device.

The first thing you need to do is choose an MFA provider, of which there are many, but we recommend the free app Authy, which works for both IOS and Android and is able to backup should you lose your phone. Alternatively, the free Google Authenticator, which works for both IOS and Android, is also a popular choice among many of our customers.

Once you’ve chosen your MFA provider and have downloaded the app, SEDNA will send you a one-time QR Code that will allow SEDNA-specific security codes to be sent to you via your MFA.

Log in to SEDNA

Now we’re getting to the exciting part, logging into SEDNA! Using Google Chrome (or any browser aside from Internet Explorer) head to:

https://TENANTDOMAIN.sednanetwork.com/launch.

(For the smoothest course, we recommend logging in via your desktop for the first login session, rather than via your phone.)

Once you’ve logged in with your Secure Note credentials, you’ll be prompted to provide the aforementioned QR code which SEDNA will have given you. From here, you can set up your MFA app like Authy or Google Authenticator.

Cue thunder and lightning: IT’S ALIVE!

No really, your SEDNA system is now live and ready to use. Depending on when you gain access, you may see no messages in your inbox or perhaps some test emails from the SEDNA Validation Team. Either way, you can rest assured we’re beavering away behind the curtain to get your mail forwarding activated.
