The integration marks the first phase of a broader partnership between Sedna and GeoServe, with vessel performance, laytime and demurrage, and bunker management workflows planned for future releases.
Port disbursement is one of the most email-heavy workflows in shipping, and one of the most consequential. For vessel operators, owners, and managers, DA approval means coordinating agent quotes, cost verifications, and payment instructions, all arriving by email, none of it connected to the systems where approvals need to be recorded. The result is unnecessary back-and-forth and an audit trail that has to be maintained manually.
The Sedna and GeoServe integration removes that friction. GeoServe is a voyage operations platform supporting vessel operators, owners, and managers across the full voyage lifecycle. The Sedna app surfaces live DA data, including cost breakdowns, screened amounts, and agent bank details, directly in the Sedna side panel, giving operations teams the context they need without leaving their inbox. From the same panel, users can set payment controls, select advance percentages, and approve or reject Port DAs in a single click, with every decision writing back to GeoServe instantly for a complete audit trail.
